A daily diligence?

You don’t have to know me for long and you’ll discover I’m an avid Twitter fan. I have one “tweet” which I often repeat, which is:

“Who did you enjoy the most today … Jesus Christ, or someone else?”

Even from “diehard Christians” the thoughts are often, “Come on, I mean I made time for my spouse and kids and those are always so precious … and I was very busy at the office but had some great interactions with some great people …”

… blah, blah, blah, on it goes.

Let’s bottomline this: If Jesus Christ is your Saviour, Lord of your life, your Master, constant companion, etc., etc., then why not enjoy Him the most in any given day?

Oh, you will have to make time for Him.

You will have to seek Him out.

You will have to engage Him.

But it is possible to know and interact with Jesus Christ, personally and intimately, in such a way that you enjoy Him the most in any given day.

If you’re a follower of Jesus Christ, this shouldn’t be a surprise or a rarity. It should be your daily diligence.

Want to turn your life upside down? Spend one week earnestly pursuing to enjoy Jesus Christ the most in each day of the week.

Really do this and you won’t be the same …

By the way, who did you enjoy the most today … Jesus Christ, or someone else?
