If I should die before I wake …

Pastor and author, Leonard Sweet, posted the cartoon pictured to the right on his Facebook page yesterday …

Perhaps a few of us might know someone who would actually say something like that as their final words, but most of us don’t. For most of us, the regrets we would have if we breathed our last breath within the next few minutes would be very different.

What would yours be?

As long as you are breathing you have an opportunity to change how you live so that you finish well. What adjustments do you need to make in your life to finish well?

“As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me — the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing,” 2 Timothy 4:6-8.
